XUE MEI DEVAND

Xue Mei Devand was born in Inner Mongolia, China and of Chinese and Mongolian ancestry. She is a proud mother to four incredible daughters and is deeply passionate about aligning and stewarding the right relationship with our children, with each other and with our mother earth. She is dedicated to working with money as energy through conscious agreements to support and serve a future where everyone can thrive and align with their unique gifts. In the past few years, she’s been exploring subtle energy sciences and spirituality as it relates to her inner world and outer dharma. She’s grateful for her previous career honing skill sets, and building deep relationships that now support her impact investing and philanthropic work at Wend Collective. She started her career in finance at Goldman Sachs in investment banking and private equity before becoming a two-time entrepreneur, once at the intersection of fashion and globalization by starting the first globally focused luxury private equity firm and the other at the intersection of protecting artisans and designers through a story-telling based digital marketplace called AHAlife that was named in 2013 #19 on Fast Company’s World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies. She took the company public in 2015 on the ASX. She graduated from MIT with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science with a concentration on Artificial Intelligence and Management Finance from the Sloan School of Management. She was named one of Fast Company’s 1000 Most Creative People in Business and was a finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Lynq Technologies Inc, is a Board Observer on the Long Term Stock Exchange and is on the Board of Advisers of Just Capital.
